We do not have a newlywed registry because we have each other and all of you. Making memories with those we love, exploring this planet to find a beautiful view, a breathtaking sunset and a new land is all we could hope for. As we arrive in Tahiti (bucket list) and set sail around the Society Islands including Bora Bora, some of you may want take part in some of the shore excursions with us. With your thoughtful wedding gift, we will explore Bora Bora's stunning lagoon with the Aqua Safari Underwater Walk! Our instructor will give us instructions before we put on a special helmet designed to keep our heads dry and descend the ladder into the crystal blue waters. While walking along the bottom of the lagoon, we will come across colorful corals and an array of tropical fish that we can feed by hand. After our underwater walk, we will have time to enjoy snorkeling!

Experience the unparalleled beauty of Bora Bora's lagoon in a fun-filled new way during this scenic and exciting waverunner excursion around the island.Depart the pier for the brief transfer via Le Truck to the waverunner launching point. Upon arrival, your guide will provide you with your safety and waverunner instructions, then lead you on a one-hour journey to the lagoon's most remote and idyllic spots. En route, your guide will select the best location to stop for a swim or explore a motu. (Stops may vary due to the wind and water conditions.)Upon returning to the waverunner launching point, you will reboard Le Truck for the return ride to the pier.Please note: Operation of this tour is dependent upon weather and water conditions. This tour is priced per-waverunner, which will accommodate two average-sized adults. When requesting online, please request only one ticket. Participants must wear the life-jacket provided, remain in line, and follow thirty yards behind the waverunner in front of them. The bikes are easy to use with multiple gears that allow you to fully enjoy the roads of Moorea. In addition the electric motor will assist you when pedaling and the different settings will make even the less active guests feel like they can win Le Tour de France. Your tour will make one additional stop at the Agricultural High school where you can purchase refreshments and taste the local made jam. Moorea's spectacular valleys, bays, and vistas are yours to discover during this guided ATV tour through the island.Depart the pier in Cook's Bay for the brief transfer via minivan to the Hilton Moorea Lagoon & Spa, where the ATVs are based. Upon arrival, you will receive your safety and riding instructions. Then, begin your ATV ride. Your guide will lead you along the road to Belvedere lookout for magnificent views and photo opportunities over Cook's Bay, Opunohu Bay, and Mt. Rotui. You will also venture across the valley, through a river, and past pineapple fields, and stop at an ancient open-air temple, or marae, to learn about the Polynesian culture.Afterward, you will continue on to the Moorea Agricultural School, then ride across this large plantation and down to the Paopao Valley. You will learn about the chronology and evolution of the industry, and how oysters are selected, grown, and then grafted for production. Don't miss this fun, informative, and interactive visit to a relatively little visited side of Tahiti, as onboard lecturer archaeologist Mark Eddowes leads a unique cultural tour of the upland rain forest of Opunohu valley.Mark Eddowes has worked clearing, mapping, excavating and restoring archaeological sites in the Opunohu valley since the 1980s. He works particularly on the life of the ancient Tahitians in this natural environment, studying their ancient habitation sites, agricultural terrace complexes, stone tool workshops, and ancient temples or marae. The recognized expert on the marae of the Society Islands, Mark will share with you his research results into the history of the temples, the rituals practiced there, and the warrior chiefs associated with them.You will also learn about the uses in ancient times of the flora and tree species of the island for canoe manufacture, medicinal uses, and the sculpture of ti'i (tiki figures) and traditional house manufacture. Also on the itinerary of this tour are the landing site of Captain James Cook in 1777, the Opunohu agricultural school, and Belvedere lookout point.Then, follow shady trails within the forest, between the ancient archaeological sites. Your transport will be on the traditional Le Truck, providing vista views and spectacular scenery along the way.
